Majestic Hotel Group announce New Cooperation with Sina

Majestic Hotel Group is honoured to announce the collaboration agreement that it has signed with the Italian group Sina Hotels, owners of luxury establishments in Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan, amongst other Italian cities. According to Malco Par, General Manager of the Majestic Hotel Group, “The agreement represents a creative commercial initiative with a key partner. Besides, Sina has many similarities with the Majestic Hotel Group, as it is also a family business that takes a lot of care of the location, quality and products being offered in its hotels”. From now on, the clients of the Majestic Hotel will be able to benefit from special conditions when booking hotel and restaurant services in any of the establishments that form part of Sina Fine Italian Hotels.

The group Sina Hotels was established in 1958 when the Italian count Ernesto Bocca, a great admirer of Renaissance architecture, acquired a Florentine mansion that had belonged to the Medici family and restored to create the exclusive hotel Villa Medici. Since then, Sina Hotels has managed luxury establishments, both urban hotels and resorts, in Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Perugia, Turin and Viareggio. All of them share common features: a privileged location and the will to reflect the distinctive character of the city or region where they are situated, by means of personalized services, elegant decoration and excellent cuisine based on local, traditional recipes.

Majestic Hotel Group

Majestic Hotel Group was established in 1918 and it now counts with five hotels: four of them in Barcelona. The first hotel of the group, that in time became its flagship, is the 5-star Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona. Later on it was followed by the centrally located 3-star Hotel Inglaterra. Since 2008, the group has two more unique establishments in the heart of the city: Murmuri, – a designer boutique-hotel-, and the innovative Denit, – a night&breakfast addressed mainly to young and cosmopolitan clients. Montalembert boutique hotel in Paris, located in the bohemian Saint Germain des Prés quarter, has been the first international incursion of the group. Offering a gastronomic selection of the highest quality is one of the Majestic Hotel Group’s priorities, – as it is expressed in its two restaurants -. Managed by the prestigious chef Fermín Puig, restaurant Drolma has already been awarded a Michelin star, while the brand new Petit Comité was only opened to the public as recently as 2009.
