The Arts Hotel in Barcelona has recently opened two new floors of event space with fantastic views of the Mediterranean and the city. ‘Arts 41′, located on the 40th and 41st floors, offers six individual spaces, each with full length windows, that can cater for up to 200 guests. Until now, the Arts Hotel had only one meeting space with natural daylight.

One of the main reasons people stay at the Arts Hotel is for the spectacular views (All accommodation has panoramic views of the city or sea) and as all of the meeting spaces were on the ground floor, they didn’t have any with great views up until now which was a shame; clients often prefer to have natural daylight and wonderful views if given the choice.

This new Arts41 event space was originally going to be an residence for the owner, but that didn’t take place. They then looked at what options there were to use the space for; a restaurant perhaps or a bar maybe and finally decided on quality event space.

Each space in ‘Arts 41′ is named after the colour blue in a different Mediterranean language, including ‘Azul’ of course. One of the rooms offers state-of-the-art videoconferencing with a conference table that integrates motorised screens, equipped with internet, voice and video connections.

Enoteca Restaurant at Hotel Arts Barcelona is awarded a Michelin Star in the 2010 Michelin Guide

The Arts Hotel’s Enoteca restaurant, overseen by head chef Paco Pérez, has just been awarded its first Michelin star. The restaurant serves gourmet Mediterranean cuisine made from locally sourced produce.

The hotel has also recently launched a new Champagne bar featuring over forty different types of Champagne and an extensive wine list of Spanish and Catalan wines.
