Giant Painting Activity
We might not all be a Picasso, but that doesn't mean we can't have a terrific time playing with paint. We're very proud of this original activity: it let's you be creative, learn tricks from a professional painter and come up with something unique as a team. It gives “creative thinking” a whole new meaning!
Your group is put into teams of 4-5 people. Each team is to produce a large oil painting (on a 1.9 x 1.9m canvas) under the guidance of our experienced artists. These 'trainers' are all working artists, headed by Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada. The trainers will make you feel comfortable, explain techniques and help your team come up with an idea and way of working together. In case your muse needs a little help, we've picked a truly inspiring location: a rooftop terrace overlooking the Palau Guell, a building designed by Gaudi, adorned with his signature wrought iron details and mosaics. With a view like this, you'll find your inner artist in no time. (In the event of rain, an alternative setting may be provided.)
Of course, we don't expect you to be starving artists. We'll set you up with drinks and snacks (cava, beer, soft drinks, potato chips (crisps), olives and other nibbles) so that you can concentrate on being creative. The price does not include prizes for the best paintings, but we can purchase them for you upon request. And if you want to end the day on a particularly high note, we can arrange for a BBQ or paella dinner after the activity.
*Extra bonus: the session can be bought on DVD! Our professional filmmakers, who've produced several documentaries and short films, can capture the activity on tape and provide editing and production services. It's a great way of remembering the event and showing the folks back home that working for your company is a lot of fun!
