Excursions to Ronda from Marbella on the Costa del Sol
This
is one of the most stunning towns in Andalucia as it is perched on top of a
cliff, 100m above the Tajo Gorge with spectacular views out over the
countryside.
Because of it’s location it has always been a fortress
town and was one of the last to be taken from the Moors by the Christians in
1485.

Ronda is also the home of bullfighting with the oldest bullring in Spain being
one of it’s main attractions.
As Ronda is only 1 hour away from the Costa
del Sol and the popular resort of Marbella, it can be visited on a half day tour
or be combined with other activities to extend the day at any time of the year.
