Fashion Photography Shoot - Barcelona
(In conjunction with the charity shop Humana.)
Become a front-page fashion shoot photographer for a day and take front cover fashion magazine photos!
This activity is fun, fast and creative. It gets you out and about in the city discovering its many beautiful and diverse settings while working together as a team in a race against time to design create and shoot four fashion magazine covers in less than a day!
Each team gets a small budget, an SLR camera, and one of our expert photography guides! In addition, the team will be given an envelope containing 4 titles for a fashion shoot; for example: ‘Winter Sports’, ‘Wall Street’ or ‘Jungle’ etc.
The Challenge
1. Keeping within the budget Purchase suitable clothes and props from the charity shop to create four diverse fashionable outfits according to the given titles.
2. Find suitable locations in the city for each design and choose a member of your group to model it.
3. Then just fire away!
The expert photography guides will always be on hand to assist with the shoot, but the art direction, locations and models are the responsibility of the team.
The best, and most entertaining shots will be judged by one of our professional photographers and may even find their way into a local magazine!
At the end of the day, any unwanted props and clothing are returned to the charity shop thus making a charitable donation to add to your feel good factor.
5-to-6 hours as a stand-alone program or part of a longer event or meeting.
Participants:
Each team has from 5 to 6 pax, with a minimum of two teams being involved to create an air of competition.
This activity is extremely flexible, it can be run at any time of the day for groups ranging from 10 and upwards. It can be run as a teambuilding activity and as an energizing and refreshing way of breaking up a series of meetings/conferences, getting participants out into one of Europe’s most beautiful and lively cities. And Barcelona, with its’ fascinating past and avant-garde present, beach and mountains, really does have something for everyone, meaning that your event will be talked about around the office for years to come.
Finally as the event is photography based you are guaranteed to head home with smiles on your faces and a stack of images that can be used in company broachers or to liven up the office walls.
We strongly believe that decorating your office walls with great pictures taken by fellow employees has much more meaning than a motivational poster or a piece of abstract artwork.
